CJ "MoeUncle3000" Airport Security is a stupid idea, a waste of money, and is only there for one reason, to make white people feel safe. Favorite track: where_ya_get_ya_coke_from_AUNM_RMX.wav.

landrovergaming As someone who really didnt like STH, not only is this the most listenable way to experience the album, but it's probably the only version of this album i'll listen to from here on out. and I was already liking it a lot more than the original album, but imagine my surprise when after chilling to the whole album, on the very last track, for a split second, the first note of Genesis plays. hit me like a flashbang. Immediately this cemented itself on my favorites list. Favorite track: where_ya_get_ya_coke_from_AUNM_RMX.wav.

about

"After 50 years of Hip-Hop, the genre has finally been perfected" - Vanessa Queerio

Danny fans, Peggy stans, Moe listeners, lend me your ears! The world's coolest loser has a new project for yall to listen to, and it took just over a month to produce. The original Scaring The Hoes from JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown's catalog is stellar to say the least and Moe put his spin on the 14 modern classics for this remixtape. From old beats, to new beats, to stuff that's quite rare, all topped with clever-ass rhymes that we hope you all share (seriously spread the word, we here at BSVevo would love to hear what the original creators think without enduring legal action)! Here's a few words from the beatmaking madman spilling the beans on the stuff behind the scenes:

"
Despite the past scenarios that I've endured throughout this year I have no beef or ill will with JPEGMAFIA or Danny Brown. They released a collaborative album the same day my Wii U mixtape was scheduled to drop and regardless that they won over more traffic they completely deserve it. Danny Brown I've been into for a few years now and I enjoy his bizarre and comedic lyrics with his eccentric presentation from his solo work and numerous features. Peggy I got into from word of mouth from friends when his album Veteran came out and I adore his abrasive production and attitude he brings on each of his projects. I remember watching The Danny Brown show when Peggy was a guest and they talked about the album eventually coming out which got me excited. I only later realized that it would release on the same day as one of my works so I didn't have the proper time to listen to everything minus some prior singles until August of this year. I enjoyed my time with the album and found it a solid project from both artists respectively, but the funny thing is I remixed half the tracks before listening to the whole release.

I had a ton of spare beats from dead project files that I wanted to do something with and looked up some tempos of the songs and eventually beatmapped some (despite almost everything not being quantized which made it hell to read the waveform properly). After talking to a mix engineer I know in the states he was able to send me isolated vocals of the songs he extracted using some software and filters. For the most part they were pretty clean and the backing samples still being there felt more complimentary to my production style then annoying in the mixes. He also found out the tempos for most of them (which almost all have numerous BPMs per song) but the ones that he couldn't I was able to determine on my own. I knew I was gonna like the material for having 2 spectacular modern rappers trading verses on each track so after remixing a handful of songs I heard the album as a whole and loved Scaring The Hoes! Hearing the tracks I had already worked on was fun because I knew what lyrics were coming and hearing the stuff I didn't get to yet gave me even more ideas on what I wanted to do in my reworks.

Throughout the course of the last days of July to the beginning days of September I managed to produce 14 beats (including old project files and ideas that I haven't touched in years) and choose select vocal tracks to mix and sidechain atop them. I managed to average out 2 remixes per week and in the last couple weeks squeezed some more in because I was working on these non-stop when I didn't have a shift at my job. It's September 11th (never forget) as I'm typing this foreword right now and at the rate I'm going at I'll have this scary remix album ready to intimidate broads and terrify prostitutes just in time for the Halloween season. Even though I payed for the digital album it remains free on JPEGMAFIA's Bandcamp page and I respect when artists do that. It means I can buy his discography as a whole for only some chump change or just not give him money at all. Both artists have a considerable amount of my hard earned minimum-wage funds throughout the years that I've been a fan and now with sample based music production under my belt for some time I'm making my own tribute for their recent collaboration. I hope that Peggy nor Danny approach me with a cease & desist, but I don't think they care for a dumb remixtape made by a nobody on the internet unless it was making more money then they were off their album.

Long story short I remixed most of the acapellas before I heard the album and am putting them out for free because I was bored in the summer. Nothing wrong with that cause I've been in remix contests for songs I never heard of before and have gotten praise for crap back then. Lets see if I can scare some hoes away with the same skillset now...

Sleep with ya eyes open.

- Moe

This album is a compilation of remixes from JPEGMAFIA and Danny Brown's Scaring The Hoes project. I claim no ownership or credits for any lyrics written or samples used on my rendition of their album. This album will be a free download (much like the original) because I know I have no right to distribute the material for any price without the proper permission from JPEGMAFIA, Danny Brown, or any of the multiple artists I sampled on here. I encourage you to buy the original and show your support for the artists that I remixed. All lyrics used on this from the original Scaring The Hoes were written by JPEGMAFIA, Danny Brown, and Redveil (the latter on track 9 specifically).
